A native Washingtonian and Maryland Terrapin, Melissa beganher career as a CPA with over 40 years of experience in Accounting, Finance,Business Development, Commercial Lending and Entrepreneurship both in theDC/MD/VA areas and on the west coast.

Melissa equips and assists both for-profit andnon-profit corporations with their growth and expansion needs, including:  assistance with securing small businessfinancing, while leading the processes for financial forecasting and budgets,the preparation of all financial reporting, strategic recommendations to thePresident & CEO and members of the executive management team.  She also establishes and developsrelationships with the Board of Directors, external partners and stakeholders.
